Learning Design Toolkit

Context: I was charged with creating a toolkit to translate the theory & research based Position on Adult Learning into practice in a variety of contexts (learning design, team retreats, collaboration groups, etc.).

Process:

• Set vision and developed multi-stakeholder project plan

• Shadowed subject matter experts and co-developed arc of 10 fundamentals and structured format for each fundamental (Why, How, and Roadblocks)

• Conducted extensive secondary research and collected best practices from 8 adult learning theories

• Crowd-sourced favorite tools and resources

• Interviewed 15 practitioners for insights, stories, quotes

• Wrote all copy, created visual assets, and managed editing process

• Tested and collected feedback, continuously improved quarterly
